24.8.2015 None appears on behalf of the parties as per the resolution passed by the Oris
sa High Court Bar Association to abstain from Court work.
The petitioners have approached this Court for issuance of direction upon the opposite
parties to recommend the names of the petitioners for enrolment in C.T. Course through distan
ce education programme under the Directorate of Teacher Education and SCERT, Odisha and to qua
sh the list sent by the opposite party no.5 containing only the teachers from Gurundia Block.
Without going into the merits of this case, the writ petition is disposed of giving li
berty to the petitioners to approach before the opposite party no.2 ventilating their grievanc
e with all details of their claim within three weeks from the date of receipt of certified cop
y of this order. The opposite party no.5 shall take decision in accordance with law and shall
pass reasoned order preferably within period 8 weeks from the date of receipt of representatio
n.
If the authority will come to the conclusion that the claim of the petitioners is genu
ine, consequential benefit shall be extended in favour of the petitioner.
However, if it is found that the claim of the petitioners is not genuine, same shall b
e communicated to the petitioners by passing a reasoned order within the period aforesaid.
With such direction and observation made hereinabove, the writ petition is disposed of
