ORDER : The Court Made the following order :-

The petitioner is the second accused and he was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 08.08.2014 for the alleged offences punishable under Sections 8(c) r/w. 20(b) (ii)(B) of NDPS Act in Crime No.436 of 2014 on the file of the respondent police and hence, seeks bail.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner is in custody from 08.08.2014 and the co-accused viz., A1, A3 and A5 were already released on bail by the learned Additional District and Sessions Judge in Cr.M.P.No.1352 of 2014 dated 26.09.2014. Therefore, the petitioner may be released on bail.

Heard the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side).

Considering the fact that the petitioner is in custody from 08.08.2014 and the co-accused were already released on bail by the District Court, this Court is inclined to grant bail to the petitioner with certain conditions. Accordingly, the petitioner is ordered to be released on bail on his executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two sureties each for a like sum to the satisfaction of the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Srivilliputhur and on further condition that the petitioner shall appear before the respondent police daily at 10.00 a.m. until further orders.
