The petitioner approached this Court alleging police harassment.

¶20

The learned Government Pleader submitted that the third respondent, wife of the petitioner raised a complaint against the petitioner. This complaint disclose that physical abuse and harassment meted out to her by the petitioner. The police, therefore, enquired about this complaint and warned the petitioner.

In such circumstances, this Court is of the view that there is no scope for interference in this matter. The police enquiry is based on the complaints received by them. The police shall put a watchful eye on the petitioner and take strict action against him, if there is any further complaints received

from the third respondent.

The writ petition is disposed of as above.
