JUDGMENT

Pursuant to a complaint filed by the petitioner with

respect to the irregularities in the fixation of fair value of the properties of Manjeri Village, was directed to be enquired into by the second respondent. The matter was enquired by the Village officer, Tahsildar and the Sub Collector, within the competent jurisdiction, and has submitted Exts.P1 to P3 reports in which it is stated that there are material discrepancies in fixation of fair value of the properties situated within their competence. Any how, in that regard petitioner has submitted Ext.P4 representation before the Government, which is pending consideration. It is in this background seeking appropriate direction, this writ petition .

Having heard learned counsel for the petitioner, learned Government Pleader and perusing the documents on record and pleadings put forth I am satisfied that a

direction can be issued to the first respondent to take a decision on Ext.P4 representation, within three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment, in accordance with law, after providing, if necessary, an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner and all concerned.
