J U D G M E N T

The petitioner was working as a part-time sweeper in the Kannur District Co-operative Bank, Chakkarakkal Branch from 06.02.2007 to 05.06.2012. The petitioner was orally terminated thereafter and certain others have been appointed in her place. She claims regularisation in view of the long, continuous service put in by her. According to the petitioner, there are a number of vacancies in the various branches of the bank. Therefore, the petitioner seeks an appointment to one of the vacancies available.

Adv.Meena John who appears for the 2^nd respondent submits that since Ext.P2 representation is pending before the 1^st respondent, the same may be directed to be considered and disposed of.

The learned Government Pleader also submits that Ext.P2 would be considered.

This writ petition is in the above circumstances disposed of directing the 1^st respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner, Ext.P2 in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders thereon, as expeditiously as possible, at any rate, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this judgment.
