Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 216/2021, arising out of Bistupur P.S. Case No. 05/2021, corresponding to G.R. No. 803/2021, registered under Sections 302/ 34 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Jamshedpur, East Singhbhum.
On 03/01/2021, Juli Ghosh was found murdered in her house. During the course of investigation statements of witness Jasbir Mukhi and Shiva mukhi were recorded in the case diary. Both these witnesses have stated that after the occurrence co accused was apprehended and he made extra judicial confessions stating that he alongwith this petitioner and others had murdered Juli Ghosh.
Statement of both the witnesses has also been recorded during trial. Both these witnesses have supported the fact that Rahul Mukhi has made extra judicial confession before them .
Trial of this case is under progress.
Regard being had to the facts and circumstance, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail, hence the prayer for bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
Learned court below shall expedite the trial.
