Uttam Kumar Das Vs the State of Jharkhand

Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Deoghar Cyber P.S. Case No. 108 of 2021, registered under Sections 419, 420, 467, 468, 471, 120B of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 66(B), 66(C), 66(D) & 84 (C) of the I.T. Act, pending in the Court of learned Additional Session Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Deoghar.

On 04/12/2021, cyber police Deoghar apprehended this petitioner on the pretext that he was a cyber criminal, on search three mobile phones were recovered from his possession. From the case diary it appears that several e-wallets were created using the SIM card so recovered from the possession of this petitioner. However there is nothing on the record to show that petitioner has cheated anybody.

Regard being had to the facts and circumstance of the case, the petitioner named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand only) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Session Judge-II-Cum-Special Judge, Cyber Crime, Deoghar in connection with Deoghar Cyber P.S. Case No. 108 of 2021.
