Heard, learned counsel for the appellant/claimant, Mr. Vijay Kumar Sharma and learned counsel for the respondent/ National Insurance Company Ltd., Mr. Amresh Kumar assisted by Mr. Rajiv Ranjan Pandey, Law Officer.
Mr. Amresh Kumar, learned counsel for the Insurance Company has submitted that the Award along with interest awarded by the learned Tribunal has already been satisfied to the claimant.
After a thorough discussion in between the parties, respondent- National Insurance Company Ltd. has agreed to pay a lumpsum amount of Rs.1,75,000/- to be paid to the claimant by way of final settlement in addition to the award along with interest awarded by the learned Tribunal.
Learned counsel for the appellant/claimant, Mr. Vijay Kumar Sharma has
accepted the proposal.
Considering the same, mediation in the aforesaid Misc. Appeal is successful. Accordingly, the aforesaid Misc. Appeal stands disposed of.
Respondent/ National Insurance Company Ltd. is directed to satisfy a lumpsum amount of Rs.1,75,000/- by way of final settlement to the claimant within a period of 30 days from today in addition to the award along with interest awarded by the learned Tribunal.
I.A. No.761 of 2021 stands closed.
The parties are informed that the Court fee, if any, paid by any of them shall be refunded.
