03/14.07.2021 Perused the letter dated 06.03.2021 in which a prayer has been made for extending the period for conclusion of trial by a further period of four months.
It appears that only two witnesses are left to be examined but on account of the prevailing pandemic the trial has been stalled. This Court vide order dated 27.02.2020 had directed the learned trial court to expedite and conclude the trial preferably within a period of six months but as stated above on account of the prevailing pandemic there has been no further progress in the trial.
In such view of the matter, therefore, the period for conclusion of trial is extended for a further period of three months from the date physical functioning of the court work resumes.
