The petitioner is an accused in connection with Ghatsila P.S. Case No. 72 of 2019.
It has been alleged that the daughter of the informant went to tuition, but did not return. On inquiry, the informant came to know that the petitioner had enticed her away. In the statement under Section 164 Cr.P.C., she has stated that she had gone to Tata with the petitioner and others and thereafter she had gone to Chakulia, where she stayed in the house of the sister of the petitioner. In the said statement she has categorically stated that no overt act or sexual advances has been made against her by the petitioner. The petitioner is in custody since 02.10.2019.
Regard being had to the statement of the victim recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C., the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned ACJM, Ghatsila in connection with Ghatsila P.S. Case No. 72 of 2019.
