The present contempt case has been filed for non-compliance of the order dated 11th October, 2018 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.3330 of 2018.
Learned A.C. to G.P.V while referring to the show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2, sworn by one Sunil Kumar, Executive Engineer, Drinking Water & Sanitation Division, Chatra, submits that in compliance of the order dated 11th October, 2018 passed by this Court, a committee of officers enquired the matter wherein it was found that the petitioner has constructed 70 toilets. So far as the claim of the petitioner that he has constructed 116 toilets has not been found correct. Thereafter, the said fact was communicated to the petitioner vide letter no.628 dated 11th July, 2019 issued under the signature of the Deputy Commissioner, Chatra (opposite party no.2). On instruction, learned A.C. to G.P.V submits that a cheque has already been prepared in favour of the petitioner on the basis of construction 70 toilets. The petitioner may receive the said cheque from the office of the opposite party no.2. As such, the order of this Court has already been complied and the present contempt case may be disposed of.

Having heard learned counsel for the parties and on perusal of the show cause affidavit filed on behalf of the opposite party no.2, it appears that the order dated 11th October, 2018 passed by this Court in W.P.(C) No.3330 of 2018 has been complied by the opposite party no.2. As such, I see no reason to proceed further in the matter.
The contempt proceeding is dropped.
The present contempt case is, accordingly, disposed of.
However, if the petitioner is not satisfied, it is at liberty to take
appropriate recourse as provided under the law.
