The petitioner is an accused in connection with S.T. Case No. 504 of 2018 arising out of Kenduadih (Gondudih O.P.) P.S. Case No.135 of 2018, G.R. No. 3053 of 2018.
The brother of the informant was shot dead near railway gate. It has been alleged that earlier there used to be a demand of ransom and the deceased used to name the accused, who demanded extortion money.
It has been submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that there is no allegation of assault upon the petitioner. It has further been submitted that petitioner has been implicated on his self confession and some of the coaccused has been granted bail by this Court in B.A. No.10593 of 2018 and B.A. No. 1811 of 2019.
Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer made by the learned counsel for the petitioner and has submitted that based on confession of the petitioner, several arms and ammunitions were recovered.
Considering the fact that the co-accused have been granted bail by this Court and implication of the petitioner is based on the basis of self-confession, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand only), with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-VII cum Special Judge, SC/ST, Dhanbad in connection with S.T. Case No. 504 of 2018 arising out of Kenduadih (Gondudih O.P.) P.S. Case No.135 of 2018, G.R. No. 3053 of 2018.
