The petitioner is an accused in connection with Sakchi P.S. Case No. 102 of 2018 corresponding to G. R. No. 1429 of 2018.
It has been alleged that the cousin of the informant was shot dead by unidentified miscreants. The informant also sustained gun shot injuries and a bag containing 4-5 lacs was snatched from them. The FIR was instituted against unknown persons and in course of investigation, information was received that some persons apprehended in Kadma P. S. Case No. 166 of 2018 had confessed about their involvement in the present case, which finds place in paragraph 252 of the case diary. The confessional statement of Gaurav Mishra as well as the petitioner was found recorded in Kadma P. S. Case No. 166 of 2018. In paragraph 310 of the case diary, the confessional statement of the petitioner in connection with Sakchi P. S. Case No. 102 of 2018 has been recorded. It appears that save and except the confessional statement rendered by the petitioner and other accused persons in Kadma P. S. Case No. 166 of 2018 and subsequently in Sakchi P. S. Case No. 102 of 2018, there is no other material which would indicate the complicity of the petitioner in commission of the offence. The petitioner is in custody since 10.08.2018.
Regard being had to the above, the petitioner above named is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/(Ten Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jamshedpur in connection with Sakchi P. S. Case No. 102 of 2018 corresponding to G. R. No. 1429 of 2018.
