3/ 16.02.2018. Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Sector-IV, P.S. Case No. 210 of 2013, corresponding to G.R. No. 2003 of 2013, S.T. No. 230 of 2014, for the offence under Sections 364-A, 302, 201, / 34 and 120-B of the Indian Penal Code.
The case relates to kidnapping and demand of ransom and the case was instituted against unknown.
In view of the fact that on the basis of the confessional statement of the petitioner the amount collected as ransom was recovered from another person and the dead body of the deceased was also subsequently found, the earlier bail application of this petitioner was dismissed on merits by order dated 6.4.2015 in B.A. No. 7616 of 2014.
Learned counsel for the petitioner has renewed the prayer for bail.
In the facts of this case, I am not inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner Vivek Kumar, is hereby rejected.
