Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned counsel for the State.
The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with the case registered under Sections 420 of the Indian Penal Code. Learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that petitioner has been falsely implicated in this case. It is also submitted that the petitioner is not a party to the agreement between the said Mahesh Narayan Singh and the Executive Engineer Rural Works Department, Simdega.
Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail and produced the case diary.
From the perusal of the case diary, it appears that petitioner has criminal antecedent.
Taking all these facts, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is hereby rejected.
