2/16.02.2018 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the State, who opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioners are accused for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 25(1-b)a, 26, 35 of the Arms Act.
The petitioners are in custody since 18.10.2017. The name of these petitioners transpired on the confessional statement of the coaccused and, thereafter, incriminating article has been recovered from the house of the co-accused Dhaneshwar Goswami @ Tinku Goswami.
Keeping in view the aforesaid fact and the fact that charge sheet has already been filed in this case and the petitioners are in custody since 18.10.2017, I am inclined to enlarge them on bail. Accordingly, both the petitioners namely, Sanjay Sona & Gurmit singh @ Babu are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Sri Kamal Ranjan, Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Jamshedpur, in connection with Sidgora P.S. Case No. 151 of 2017 [G.R. No. 2657/2017].
