Petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with the case registered under Section 498A 354B, 379 of the I.P.C., and Section 3 /4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act.
It appears that under order dated 17.05.2018, petitioner was directed to pay Rs.3,000/- per month from May, 2018 as ad-interim maintenance to the O.P.No.2 and shall deposit arrears amount of ad-interim maintenance for the month of May to August, 2018.
On 29.09.2018 both the parties were appeared and possibility of reconciliation was explored. On query, petitioner has submitted that he had deposited the adinterim maintenance amount till August, 2018 and both the parties were agreed to resolve their dispute through process of mediation. Hence, with consent of the parties, the matter was referred to the Secretary, DLSA, Dhanbad for reconciliation through process of mediation.
Mediation report dated 24.09.2018 has been received which reveals that mediation was explored between the parties, but the same was failed.
On query, petitioner has submitted that he has deposited the ad-interim maintenance amount in the account of O.P.No.2 till September, 2018 and he is ready to continue to pay the maintenance amount till further order passed by any competent court of jurisdiction regarding maintenance.
