4/21.02.2018 Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioners and the learned counsel for the State, who opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioners are accused for allegedly committing offence punishable under Sections 366A of the Indian Penal Code.
The petitioners are the parent of one Rahul Upadhyay, who eloped with the grand-daughter of the informant. The allegation against these petitioners is that they could not trace their son and the grand-daughter of the informant.
Keeping in view the nature of allegation and the fact that the petitioners are the father and mother of Rahul Upadhyay, I am inclined to enlarge them on bail. Accordingly, both the petitioners, named above, are directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 10,000/- (ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Palamau at Daltonganj, in connection with Chainpur P.S. Case No. 138 of 2017 [G.R. No. 1887/2017].
