The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Ghaghra P.S Case No. 61 of 2017 corresponding to G.R. No.475 of 2017 case registered under section 414 of the Indian Penal Code, Section 11 (gha)(D), 11E of Animal Cruelty Act and Section 12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal Slaughter Act, which is now pending in the court of S.D.J.M., Gumla.
From perusal of the impugned order that the petitioner has criminal antecedent and for the similar offence, two other cases are pending being Ghaghra P.S. Case No.42 of 2016 and Ghaghra P.S. Case No.122 of 2016 under the same Sections.
In view of the matter, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, his prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. The petitioner, if so advised, may surrender before the court below within four weeks' from today and pray for regular bail which shall be considered by the court below without being prejudiced by this order.
