Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner(s). Learned Addl. P.P. opposes the prayer for bail.

The petitioner is an accused for the offence under Sections 384 and 386 of the Indian Penal Code and Section 17 of the CLA Act. The impugned order suggests that the name of the petitioner has transpired from confessional statement of co-accused.

Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.10.2017.

Keeping in view of the aforesaid fact, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, namely, Abhimanyu Kumar @ Avimanyu Kumar, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned J.M., 1^st Class, Hazaribagh in connection with Keredari P.S. Case No. 54/2017, corresponding to G.R. No. 3070 of 2017, subject to condition that he will appear before Officer Incharge, Keredari Police Station(District- Hazaribagh) once in a month, failing which, his bail bond shall stand cancelled and all necessary steps shall be taken by the Officer Incharge, Keredari Police Station, for his re-arrest.
