Heard the counsel for the parties.
Learned A.P.P opposes the prayer for bail.
The petitioner is an accused for the offence punishable under Section(s)
414 of the Indian Penal Code.
It is alleged that the petitioner is a garage owner and from his garage 09 stolen motorcycles were recovered. The petitioner was dismantling the engine of the motorcycle.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no knowledge about the stolen motorcycle. He further submits that the petitioner is in custody since 21.9.2018.
Taking into consideration the period of custody of the petitioner, I am inclined to release him on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(Rupees ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned SDJM, Chatra, in connection with Pratappur P.S. Case No.98/2018, corresponding to G.R. No. 205 of 2018.
