Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 498-A, 506 / 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 / 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, in connection with Meral P.S. Case No.181 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.2080 of 2015.
Petitioner is the husband of the informant and there is allegation against him to have subjected his wife to cruelty and torture for demand of dowry.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner Deepak Thakur is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Garhwa, in connection with Meral P.S. Case No.181 of 2015, corresponding to G.R. No.2080 of 2015.
