The petitioner has been prosecuted for having been found in possession
of pistol loaded with cartridges. He was found in possession of MCC literature and that suggests that he is having relation with extremists.
It is submitted that petitioner has been languishing in jail since last 8 – 9 months.
Counsel for the State has opposed the prayer and submitted that the petitioner is having two more cases pending against him.
Considering period of detention of the petitioner in jail custody, he is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand), with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of C.J.M. Khunti in connection with Arki P.S. Case No. 17 of 2014 [G.R. No. 220 of 2014].
