Petitioner has been made accused for the offence under Sections 323, 498-A / 34 of the Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 /4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No.223 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No.1574 of 2014.
Petitioner is the husband of the complainant-informant and there is allegation against him to have subjected his wife to cruelty and torture for demand of dowry.
In the facts and circumstances of the case, I am inclined to release the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner Budhan Soren is directed to be released on bail, on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand) with two sureties of like amount each to the satisfaction of learned Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate, Dumka, in connection with Jarmundi P.S. Case No.223 of 2014, corresponding to G.R. No.1574 of 2014.
