Learned counsel for the petitioner has placed on record a copy of judgment passed by a Co-ordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 2500 of 2021 a/w connected matters decided on 07.07.2023 and has submitted that the subject matter in all the present petitions is identical to the subject matter of the petitions decided by the above noted judgment dated 07.07.2023 .

Learned Additional Advocate General representing the respondents had not contested the factual position.

In view of the stand so taken by the parties, the petitions are allowed in terms of the judgment passed by Coordinate Bench of this Court in CWP No. 2500 of 2021 a/w connected matters decided on 07.07.2023 in identical matters and the respondents are directed to release the promotional increments to the petitioners to the posts of Head Teachers w.e.f 1.10.2012/ the date from which the promotional increments has been released to such of the Head Teachers who were promoted as such after 1.10.2012. This exercise be carried out within six weeks, failing which amount shall carry interest @ 5 perecent per annum. Petitions are accordingly disposed of so also the pending applications, if any.
