Mr. A.R. Tahbildar, learned counsel for the sole respondent, has produced a speaking order dated 30.05.2024 issued by the Director of Higher Education Department, Assam, wherein it is held that the Ph.D. Degree of the petitioner is

doubtful and a show cause notice has been issued as per Establishment Norms and the petitioner cannot be upgraded to the post of Principal at this stage.
On consideration of the speaking order dated 30.05.2024, this Court is of the considered opinion that the sole respondent has substantially complied with the order passed by this Court.
Accordingly, this contempt petition is closed.
The speaking order dated 30.05.2024 is placed on record.
