Heard Mr. J Chutia learned counsel for the applicant. Also heard Mr. S Das learned standing counsel Higher Education Department appearing for respondent Nos.1 and 4, Mr. A Khanikar learned counsel for the respondent No.2 and Ms. P.P. Das learned counsel for respondent No.3.
The present application has been instituted by the applicant herein praying for impleading the Secretary, Hills Area Development Department, Govt. of Assam, Dispur as respondent in WP(C) No.609/2018.
I have perused the contention raised in the I.A and also heard the learned counsel for the parties appearing in the matter.
On consideration of the pleadings as available in the matter and also the submissions advanced by the petitioner, this court is of the view that the applicant be permitted to implead the above authority as respondent No.5 in the connected writ petition .
Accordingly the I.A stands disposed off.
