The present contempt petition has been instituted by the petitioner, alleging violation of the directions passed by this Court vide order, dated 22.01.2020, in WP(c)6377/2019.

It is seen that this contempt petition has been filed by the petitioner only on 30.03.2024 which is much beyond the period within which this Court is empowered to take cognizance of such violation.
Mr. Islam, learned counsel for the petitioner, in view of the above position, prays that he may be permitted to withdraw this contempt petition with liberty to file an appropriate application before this Court in the matter.
Prayer is accepted.
The contempt petition accordingly stands dismissed on withdrawal with liberty granted to the petitioner to file an appropriate application, if so advised.
