During deliberation of the matter, it is placed before the Court that the Director of Higher Education, Assam being the Disciplinary Authority, accepted and approved the recommendation of the Governing Body of Bahona College and reinstated the petitioner Associate Professor in the Department of Botany, Bahona College by order dated 30.06.2020.
In view of the above, there is no such contempt of the order of the Court dated 26.07.2019 passed in WP(C) No.5050/2019.
Accordingly, this Contempt Petition stands closed.
Notice of contempt issued upon the respondent contemnor on 13.09.2019 is hereby recalled.
Copy of the communiqué of the Director of Higher Education, Assam dated 30.06.2020 be kept as part of the record.
