There were no representation on the part of the petitioner continuously on the last few days. Today, however, Shri S. P. Choudhury, learned counsel has appeared for the petitioner, who submits that there is no instructions regarding the latest development from the client.
Ms. M. Kalita, learned counsel has appeared for the respondent No. 1; Shri B. Chetri, learned counsel appearing for the respondent Nos. 3 and 5 whereas Shri P. Nayak, learned counsel for the respondent No. 6.
The order which is the subject matter of this petition is dated 25.12.2012 pertaining to return of certain seized liquor subject to the licencee producing all supporting documents.
Lack of instructions coupled with the fact that the order was a conditional order, this Court is of the opinion that no fruitful purpose would be served by keeping this petition alive.
The contempt petition accordingly stands closed.
