requirement of the department, decision can be taken to pursue the contract services otherwise the contract appointee will be terminated automatically at the end of the period of contract appointment. The services of the Petitioners were extended from time to time on the basis of their work performance and confidential reports for the financial year 2021-22. The authority has continued the services of the Petitioners for the financial year 2022-23 also. However, vide the impugned order dated 19.10.2022, Respondent No.5/District Programme Officer, Women and Child Development, District Raipur terminated the services of the Petitioners with effect from 31.10.2022 for the reason that the services of the Petitioners not found satisfactory in the financial year 2021-22. After the order of termination, on 3.11.2022, Respondent 5/District Programme Officer issued show cause notice to the Petitioners for termination of their services asking for explanation within 5 days otherwise as per the recommendation of the District Level Selection Committee services of the Petitioner will automatically be terminated with effect from 30.11.2022. Subsequently, services of the Petitioners have again been terminated vide order dated 17.11.2022 (Annexure P5) mentioning the reason that the Petitioners in Writ Petitions (S) No.9410 of 2022, 9220 of 2022, 9413 of 2022, 988 of 2023 in their appraisal reports have received grading “Ä”, the Petitioner in Writ Petition (S)
