It appears that on consideration of the contempt application being CPAN No.1820 of 1999 and the exhibits and Annexures annexed to the application, a co-ordinate Bench by its order dated February 17, 2012 issued rule against the alleged contemners. As it appears from the case record, notice and subpoena along with a copy of the contempt application were served upon the alleged contemners. But, since then no step was taken by the petitioner as well as the alleged contemners for pursuing the contempt proceeding.
I feel that none of the parties is interested to proceed with the contempt proceeding.
Accordingly, the contempt proceeding is dropped. The rule is discharged.
