1. This is an application for
grant of bail. The applicant
alongwith 8 other accused
persons are shown as accused in
C.R.No.39/2005 registered by
Poynad police station, Dist.
Raigad for offences under
Sections 302, 147, 148 & 149 of
IPC. The deceased is one
Siddharth and the allegation
against the present applicant is
that he alongwith several others
assaulted him with wooden rods.
The role which is ascribed to
: 2 :
the present applicant is the
same which is ascribed to the
other co-accused who have been
granted bail. In the
circumstances, since the case of
the present applicant is with
par with the accused Dasharath
Patil who has been granted bail.
In the circumstances, I am
inclined to grant bail to the
applicant. It is therefore,
directed that pending his trial
in pursuance of C.R.No.39/2005
registered by the Poynad Police
station, Dist. Raigad, the
applicant may be released on
bail in the sum of Rs.15,000/-
with one surety in the like
amount subject to the condition
that he will report to the
investigating officer once a
month on every first Monday of
the month till the trial is
concluded. Application stands
disposed of.
