1. This is an application for grant of
bail. The present applicant alongwith

his son are shown as an accused in
C.R.No.124 of 2006 registered by
Sahakar Nagar Police Station, Pune for
offences under Section 307 and 367 read
with 34 of the I.P.C.

2. On perusal of the F.I.R., it is
clear that the main allegation is
against the son of the present
applicant who is said to have assaulted
by chopper. As far as present

applicant/original accused No.2 is
concerned, he came at later stage. The
F.I.R. does not indicate that the
present applicant was holding any
weapon. The injury certificate shows
four injuries. The question arises
whether offence could be under Section
324 of the I.P.C. In the
circumstances, I am inclined to grant
bail to the applicant. It is
therefore, directed that pending trial
in pursuance of C.R.No.124/2006
registered by Sahakar Nagar Police
Station, Pune the present applicant may
be released on bail in the sum of
Rs.20,000/- with one surety in the like
amount subject to the condition that he
will report to the Investigating
Officer, Sahakar Nagar Police Station,
Pune once in a week on every Monday
between 11.00 to 5.00 p.m. till the
conclusion of the trial. Application
is disposed of.
