1. This is an application for
grant of bail. The applicant
alongwith 3 others are shown as
accused in C.R.No.228/2005
registered by Vishrambag Police
station, Sangli for the offences
under Section 302 r/w 34 of IPC.
Perusal of the record indicates
that the present applicant was
the husband of the deceased
Jayshree who was carrying a
child. Prima facie there is
sufficient material to indicate
the involvement of the present
: 2 :
applicant. There is an eye
witness by name Rani who has
witnessed the incident and
identified the applicant in an
identification parade as a
person who was beating the
deceased by the cricket bat.
Cricket bat was seized by the
police. A santro car which was
used has also been seized and
the entries in the toll register
indicate that the car entered
Sangli and thereafter left
shortly after the incident. In
the circumstances, not a fit
case for grant of bail.
