This application has been filed by the respondent for affixing the market rent of the forfeited property bearing no. B-1/592, Janakpuri, New Delhi in compliance with the order dated 18th July, 2016. Alongwith the application, the respondent has also filed the assessment report of residential plot which indicate the rent of the said residence is Rs. 2,30,000/-. The learned counsel for the appellant accepts the notice and seeks time to file the reply. He has pointed out that in the order dated 18th July, 2016, it was observed that while passing the status quo order both sides are directed to enquire about the market rent of the subject

property so that while making the orders on the stay application, the aspect of putting the appellants to terms can be considered if deemed necessary. The appeal is coming up on 20th December, 2016. List this application on 20th December, 2016. Reply be filed on or before the next date of hearing. In the meanwhile, the counsel for the appellant stated that according to his survey the market rent is about Rs. 70,000/-. The counsel has also got certain documents in support of his submission. On the next date of hearing, the submission of both the parties will be considered.
