The present Writ Petition came to be filed under Article^226ofthe

Constitution of India seeking the following relief:-

“...to issue a Writ, Order or Direction more particularly^{oneinthenature} of Writ of Mandamus declaring the proceedings Rc.No.2794/D3/2015^, dated 08.01.2016 issued by the 3"^ respondent directing the Correspondent SMG Aided High School, Chittoort to handover complete charge of the post of Correspondent of SMG Aided High School, Chittoor to the Deputy Educational Officer, Chittoor i.e., 2^ respondent herein as illegal, arbitrary and against the principles of natural justice and violation of Articles 14, 19 and 21 of the Constitution of India and consequently set aside the same ”

On 01.03.2017 when the matter came up for admission,^thisCourt passed the following interim order:

“ the impugned order dated 08.01.2016 passed by the 3'^ respondent is suspended until further orders. ”

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned^Government Pleader for School Education has produced a copy of^{instructionsofthe} District Educational Officer, Chittoor vide Rc.No.759/D3/2024, dated 05.03.2024, wherein it is stated that the petitioner has^{filedthepresent} writ petition directing the respondents to allow one^{Mrs.TiruArualPavai} as Head Mistress and Mrs.B.S.Margaret Saveena as Correspondent^by duly recognizing them. But, however, Smt.Tiru Arual Pavai has been retired from service on 30.06.2019 and now she is drawing service

pension since 2019; and Smt.B.S.Margeret Saveena also retired from service on 31.08.2009.

In view of the above submission, the cause in the writ petition does not survive.

s. Accordingly, the Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel, miscellaneous application s pending, if any, shall also stand closed.
