ORDER:
The Writ Petition is filed declaring the action of respondents, in not including the name of the petitioner in the provisional seniority list for the post of Junior Assistant in the category of BC-D, as illegal and arbitrary.
Pursuant to notification dated 28.02.2014 issued by the respondents, petitioner made application for the post of Junior Assistant; and, when his name was not included in the provisional seniority list, the instant writ petition is filed.
While admitting the writ petition on 16.04.2015, this Court passed an interim direction to consider the case of the petitioner for appointment to the post of Junior Assistant based on the marks obtained by him in the written test, and weightage marks.
Counsel for the petitioner submits that, pursuant to the interim direction, petitioner’s case was rejected.
Sri P.Anand Seshu, learned Standing Counsel for APEPDCL, also admits that the petitioner’s case was rejected.
In the circumstances, the Writ Petition is disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to challenge the rejection order, if he is so advised. No order as to costs.
As a sequel, miscellaneous petitions pending, if any,
shall stand closed.
