This Writ Petition is filed “to declare the action of the respondents in not adding the weightage marks to the petitioner belongs to in-service category, for the post of Village Secretaries, ANM/Multi purpose Health Assistant (Female)-Grade-III as contemplated in the notification, dated 27.07.2019 in clause 15.5(c) (b), as illegal and arbitrary”.

The case of the petitioner is that, she has been working as Multi Purpose Health Assistant (F)/EC ANM at Pachikapallam Primary Health Centre since 29.10.2008; the second respondent issued notification, dated 27.07.2019 for the post of Village Secretaries, ANM/Multi Purpose Health Assistant (Female)Grade-III on 27.07.2019; pursuant to the said notification, the petitioner applied for the same, appeared for the examination held on 03.09.2019 and got secured 58.75 marks; as per clause(b) of the said notification, the petitioner is entitled for adding of 10 weightage marks; but the respondent authorities refused to add the same due to selection of wrong category by the petitioner at the time of forwarding application; she made a representation on 03.10.2019 before the 3^rd respondent and also produced the service certificate along with proceedings issued by the 4^th respondent recommending for adding of weightage of 10 marks; but till now, no orders have been passed by the respondents. Hence the Writ Petition.

Learned Government Pleader for Medical and Health, appearing for respondents submits that appropriate action would be taken by the respondents on the representation dated 03.10.2019 of the petitioner.

In the facts and circumstances of the case, without going into the merits of the case, the 3^rd respondent is directed to dispose of the representation, dated 03.10.2019 of the petitioner, strictly in accordance with law, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

As a sequel thereto, the miscellaneous petitions, if any, pending in this Writ Petition shall stand closed.
