Supplementary affidavit filed by the learned counsel for the applicant is taken on record.

Heard Mohd. Shahibe Alam, learned counsel for the applicant and Sri B.P. Singh, learned AGA appearing for the State respondents.

The present application has been moved seeking anticipatory bail in Case Crime No. 01 of 2002, under Sections 4/5/6 Prostitution Act and Section 294 IPC, Police Station Birhampuri, District Meerut with the prayer that in the event of arrest, applicant may be released on bail.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that the applicant was granted regular bail by the trial Court in the year 2002 and she continued to remain present on each and every date till 2019 and thereafter due to her ill health she could not appear before the trial Court and now non-bailable warrant has been issued against her. He further submits that the applicant is a lady and she is ready and willing to cooperate in the trial.

On the other hand, learned AGA submits that the applicant has already been granted regular bail by the trial Court and she has misused the privilege of the bail granted to her and she has absconded, therefore, in the facts and circumstances of the case, present application is not maintainable.

Learned counsel for the applicant prays for some time to produce some case laws.

In view of the above, list this case on 24.3.2026 as fresh in top 20 cases.
