Vakalatnama filed by Shri Rumesh Chandra Agrahari, Learned counsel for the informant is taken on the record.

Learned counsel for the applicant contends that the applicant is the father of the deceased and the husband of the injured. He, in an effort to save his child and wife, suffered serious burn injuries. Due to a domestic quarrel between the husband and wife, the wife set herself on fire and the deceased, the two year old son of the applicant, got caught in the said fire. Learned counsel relies upon certain photographs of the CCTV footage and audio recordings available from the CCTV, which prima facie indicate that the injured may have tried to commit suicide. However, as the CCTV footage has been made a part of the investigation and has been recovered by the police, it would be appropriate that a specific report with respect to the contents of the CCTV footage is called for before disposing of this application.

Till 05.05.2026, in the event of arrest of the applicant- Lekhraj Amarnani , involved in the Case Crime No.0155 of 2026, under Section 3/4 D.P. conditions:-

(i) The applicant shall not tamper with evidence and that he would appear before the trial Court on the date fixed unless exempted by the Court concerned;

(ii) The applicant shall not directly or indirectly, make any inducement, threat or promise to any person acquainted with the facts of the case so as to dissuade him/her/them from disclosing such facts to the Court or to any police officer;

(iii) The applicant would co-operate during trial and would not misuse the liberty of bail.

(iv) The applicant shall not leave India without prior permission of the Court concerned.

(v) The applicant shall not pressurize/intimidate the prosecution witness;
