Heard Mr. Arvind Srivastava III, learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. representing the State and perused the record.

The instant application has been preferred by the applicant with a prayer for expeditious disposal of Case No. 226 of 2024, Smt. Anita Vs. Ritupal and others under Section 12 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, pending in the court of learned Civil Judge (Junior Division)/Fast Track Court (Crime Against Women), Rampur, within stipulated time.

Learned counsel for the applicant submitted that witnesses from the side of informant have furnished their statement on oath before learned trial court but the cross-examination is still pending.

Learned A.G.A. has no objection to the innocuous prayer of the applicant.

In view of the above, it is directed that the learned trial court concerned shall make all endeavour to decide the aforesaid case expeditiously, preferably withing a period of four months from the date of production of certified copy of this order, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, if there is no legal impediment.

With the aforesaid direction, this application is disposed of.
