In pursuance to the previous order of this Court, the District Magistrate, Ghazipur has filed her affidavit of compliance stating that the representation of the applicant/petitioner has been decided vide order dated 21.03.2024. A copy of the same has been annexed as Annexure-1 to the compliance affidavit.

The counsel for the applicant has pointed out certain illegalities and procedural irregularities in the order passed by the District Magistrate, Ghazipur.

The objections of the counsel for the applicant regarding procedure followed while passing the order dated 21.03.2024 are matters of merit of claim of the applicant/petitioner which are not to be adjudicated by the contempt court under the proceedings of the Contempt of Courts Act, 1971 and the petitioner is permitted to raise his grievance before the appropriate forum.

In view of the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed in the contempt application.

The contempt application is disposed of . The file of the case is consigned to records. Notices are discharged.
