Heard Sri Shakeel Ahmad Azmi, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State-respondents.
The petitioner has filed the instant petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking mandamus, directing the respondent No. 3 to demarcate the land belonging to the petitioner within stipulated period.
Without going into the merit of the case, I direct the respondent No. 3 i.e. Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Nijamabad, Azamgarh to carry out the demarcation proceedings with regard to the land owned by the petitioner in accordance with law within two months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
