Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
Through this petition, the petitioner has prayed for the following relief:-
"(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent authorities to pay all the post retiral benefits of the petitioner with immediate effect.
(ii) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pass appropriate order on his representation dated 0507-2022 (Annexure No.5) A within a fixed period and to take appropriate decision in accordance with law."
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that it would be suffice if respondent no. 2 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner to which learned Standing Counsel has no objection.
In view of the above and without entering into merits of the case, liberty is granted to the petitioner to file a fresh representation before respondent no. 2 within a period of two weeks from today and in case such representation is filed within a stipulated time, the same shall be decided by respondent no. 2 by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a further period of eight weeks.
In view of the aforesaid observation, the petition is disposed of.
