Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State.
By means of this writ petition, the petitioner has mainly prayed for a direction to respondents to pay 90% of gratuity, fixing his pay scale as per 6th pay commission and other retiral benefits and the difference of amount of salary and pension, with a further prayer to direct respondents to decide his pending representation.
Learned counsel for the petitioner, after arguing for some time, submits that the petitioner's grievance shall be substantially redressed in case his representation is duly considered and decided by respondent No.2.
Learned Standing Counsel has no objection to this innocuous prayer made on behalf of the petitioner.
In view of the above, without entering into merit of the case, the petition is finally disposed of with liberty to the petitioner to move a fresh representation to respondent No.2 within two weeks from today. In case such a representation is submitted within the aforesaid stipulated time, respondent No.2 shall consider and decide it in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned and speaking order expeditiously and preferably within the next eight weeks.
