Heard learned counsel for the applicant and learned A.G.A. for the State.

This application under Section 483 Cr.P.C. has been filed with a prayer to direct the court concerned to decide the Case No.1951 of 2016 (Mines Officer Vs. Ashish Singh & others) under Sections 4/21 Mines and Minerals (Regulation and Development) Act, 1957 and under Rules 3, 57, 70 of Uttar Pradesh Minor Minerals (Concession) Rules 1963 and U.P. Minerals Mining and Transportation and Storage Regulation 2002, Police Station Baragaon, District Jhansi pending in the Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhansi expeditiously within a stipulated period.

Learned counsel for the applicant urged that the court concerned may be directed to decide the case as mentioned above expeditiously within a time frame as decided by this Court.

Accordingly, the learned Magistrate concerned is directed to decide the case described as above expeditiously, preferably, within a period six months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order, if there is no legal impediment.
