Heard Sri R.C.Singh, Senior Advocate, assisted bySri N.D.Shukla, learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the respondents-State.

The petitioner, who are 20 in number, by means of present writ petition are seeking a direction upon the respondent no.3 to take a decision on the resolution dated 09.01.2019 passed by Land Management Committee allotting land for Abadi.

Counsel for the petitioners submitted that the resolution is pending consideration for more than two years but respondent no.3 till date has not taken any decision in the matter.

As no useful purpose would be served in keeping the matter pending, with the consent of counsel for the parties, the matter is being disposed of at this stage without calling for counter affidavit, with a direction upon respondent no. 3 to take appropriate decision on the aforesaid resolution dated 09.01.2019 in accordance with law after calling for a fresh report and hearing all the concerned parties, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date of production of a copy of this order downloaded from the official website of Allahabad High Court.
