The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 08.08.2021 registered as Case Crime No.0194 of 2021 under Sections 504, 506, 352 IPC and Section 30 of Arms Act, 1959, Police Station Sidhari, District Azamgarh. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioner in the aforesaid case.
Learned A.G.A. states that the charge sheet has already been forwarded before the competent court against two co-accused persons on 09.9.2021. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In the facts and circumstances, we are not inclined to proceed further in the matter.
The writ petition is dismissed as not pressed.
In case the petitioner is still aggrieved, he can approach the appropriate forum for redressal of his grievance.
