Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned A.G.A. for the State.
The present writ petition has been filed with the prayer to quash the First Information Report dated 30.9.2020 registered as Case Crime No.193 of 2020 under Sections 147, 323, 504, 506 I.P.C., Police Station Ghughali, District Maharajganj. Further prayer has been made not to arrest the petitioner in the aforesaid case.
Mrs. Archna Singh, learned A.G.A.-I states that eight accused persons have been arrested in the aforesaid criminal case and the chargesheet has been forwarded to the competent court. As such, the cause of filing the writ petition no more survives and the writ petition is liable to be dismissed as infructuous.
In view of the above, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous with liberty to apply for bail as permissible under law and in accordance with law.
